Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [12th - 15th January 2017]

Poor finish from Mkhitaryan, has to go low. Low = goal.

Is Pogba having a laugh with Lovren? My god, it's not rocket science.

£90million and doesn't know how to mark/track, my days.

At half time Mourinho is going to have to get wing mirrors put on Pogbas shoulders, its the only way Pogba will have any idea of whats going on around him :)

Games like this show that we really need another option for Carrick, he's always terrible in games like this. He just doesn't have the pace to keep up with the game.

Are the Man*U dressing rooms 1 mile away from the ground ? He loves leaving a few minutes*early for some reason.

We have just been really poor in all areas. Poor passing, poor work rate and we are jittery as ****.

You'd do well to find a worse half performance than Pogba there.

- Misses unbelievable chance
- Completely at fault for the penalty, seriously wtf was he doing
- Keeps losing the ball
- Keeps losing Lovren on set pieces
- Loses his head, could easily have been booked

Big game player? I think not.

We were lucky to survive the 15-25 mins or whatever it was, however Oliver fearing his career since the penalty decision

Impressed by Liverpool. It looks like they have 12 vs 11. Workrate and closing down is exceptional. Can they sustain it for 90 mins? United have missed two decent chances and Mignolet made a fine save from Zlatan. Looking at the Liverpool line up I wasn't worried but I have to say they have played very well and deserve the lead.

its not just carrick though, Rojo and Jones have both been poor, Pogba is off his game (really should have scored apart from the mistakes from every corner), and Utd's general passing has been meh

Liverpool have been very lucky in a couple of instances (terrible back pass not droping in), plus Mignolet doing a reasonable job ....and Utd so far making it a little easy for him

Two things about Zlatan's free kick for me make that save pretty standard - 1) it wasn't right in the corner & 2) the wall was pushed back by the Utd players on the end too quickly

Mixed half from us. Generally we're doing well at controlling the game but that backline is an accident waiting to happen - Klavan's got too many mistakes in him and Arnold is showing his inexperience at times.

We've got to be really careful with any challenges we make because ever since the penalty Oliver has been giving Utd everything. Pogba should have been booked for the handball, Lovren gets booked for a perfectly good tackle and then from the resulting set-plays misses 2 fouls from Utd including another yellow card offense for Pogba. And then fails to book Jones (or was it Rojo) when he was pulling Origi back, stopping him running through on goal.
Why would an unintentional handball be a yellow card?

Unintentional? He's 2 hand punched it away.

Think you are giving Liverpool too much credit tbh. Has De Gea made a save? United have gifted them the lead with poor defending.
