Moreno least has pace to try recover it, Gomez at the moment just gives up instantly once lost it.
The pundits are right, you just cant keep changing your keeper every other week. Klopp needs to get a new keeper and install him as the no.1 period. There is no stability being created where one week its Mignolet in goal, then its Karius, then its Mignolet, then its Ward, then its Karius. Get a proper number 1 and be done with it, or at the very least choose one of them to be the number one and be done with it.
Same with our CB though, One week Klavan is in then out etc, Our defence is just not stable, i wont ever defend Klopp for this he has had enough transfer windows to fix this, Dijk is a start but its not enough, Dijk is awesome but he cant fix the Cb next to him or the keeper
He looks like a CB playing at RB which is exactly what he is. His positioning when the ball gets crossed and cross field passes always leaves a lot to be desired - he doesn't know whether to stick or twist and keeps finding himself in no mans land.
Overall a frustrating half from us. We've had a couple of half chances to score the 2nd but our final pass or decision has let us down and then 2 needless mistakes gift them a goal. Karius is useless and I don't care how Mignolet has played of late, he's far better than Karius.
Gomez got back and got beaten by Sane again lol. Can forgive Karius expecting them to at least force him across goal considering there were ******* two of them

Yet to put a foot wrong when he's been given a chance but has to sit on the sidelines and watch Dumb & Dumber play ahead of him every game. I've absolutely no doubt he would be playing if he was German.

Tbh Karius hasn’t really had a decent run at it, don’t think anyone in the fan base watched him before but he must’ve been decent.
Took De Gea a while to settle and he had plenty of blunders I remember defending him for, but looks like we need the finished article right now or they haven’t got a hope.
Also Sane has absolutely woops that ball in, I’d rather two mistakes didn’t lead to that chance
A CB who can’t jusge aerial balls and switches off during crosses? Sounds like a talented player with poor judgement and attention

Problem is with losing this game aswell as the 3pts i can see Media pinning it on us letting Countinho go and thats what they will run with, Which if he isnt replaced and i dont think Klopp is actually chasing any one tbh, we will be beaten with that stick all year if we fail to get top 4 and season falls apart.

Karius was ranked 2nd in german league behind Neur at the time we signed him, Now i didnt watch him either but the Karius we have cant be same one, as i wouldnt even put him close to Neur ability.
I agree with De Gea, He is quality now but was given chance after chance to do it, Klopp is just constantly changing which as we all seem to agree on is making it worse
It's not as straight forward as that. As a CB when a cross (or long ball) comes in your main focus is the run across the front of you and attacking the ball - Gomez's problem has been not being aware of what's behind him. He's not got that player behind him that's covering him - he's the player that's meant to be doing the covering.
