Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [12th - 15th January 2018]

I'm still on for my 5-0.

It's like the good old days when Everton fans would always back their team to lose.

If they somehow win then you celebrate. If they lose then you win money.

Am I chuffing glad that I got put on a waiting list for a season ticket. After this season I'm taking myself back off it.

It'll be some time before I'll be prepared to throw my hard earned at this drivel.

Manager should have gone after the Leicester defeat but the board are a bunch of useless *****, just how many times they need to see a demonstration of our 2nd half suicides i don't know. Fully resigned to relegation now.
On the upside, at least it won't cost £38 a game to go and watch a bunch of overpaid bellends phone it in week after week.

We deserve relegation this season, the management need some sort of incentive to remove their heads from their own *********

Pickford's quite small by keepers standards, isn't he? I didn't think he was a terrible buy when Everton signed him but the more I watch him the less convinced I am of him.
Moshiri needs to keep his gob shut and his wallet open. This squad needs major surgery. I blame Elstone, he's a total conman
The whole club are a mess top to bottom. You only have to look at your managers and just how different each one has been since Moyes to see that nobody at the top knows what they're doing.

Can’t blame Koeman for Barkley.

One could argue that his man management of his wasn't the best.

Went from Martinez giving him all the love in the world, to Koeman basically telling him to man up and not offering any support.

Moshiri came in so full of promise. Cleared the debt, got the ball rolling with the purchase of the docks. We thought finally here is a man who is driven to do well.

But it seems he is just an investor and knows NOTHING about football. The people advising him are charlatans, the only good thing was that Moshiri uncovered some dodgy dealings when he cleared the debt and the rat "Sir" Philip Green was removed from the club.

I don't have any ill feelings towards Allardyce, he was brought in because the situation demanded it, but such a mess has been made with the playing squad.

Everton are never going to attract the best players, we need to be going at this from left field. Getting hard workers with a sprinkling of talent. Everton were at their best under Moyes when they were making signings like Pienaar, Arteta, etc.

Man city and chelsea havent always been the clubs they are today... but with the right investment and manager you get better players.
Everton have spent a lot of money this season and look worse than ever!

We can just be thankful that there always seems to be a couple of worse teams in the league than Everton

I find that an odd statement. Apart from last season we are regularly in the 10, and generally considered best of the rest really. So it's not like we'r constant relegation battles.
