It's irrelevant, Monreal went in to block the ball and Vardy put it round him, Like Baz has said, there was no need for Vardy to go into Monreals leg, he should have just zipped round the side. Anywhere else on the pitch Vardy doesn't leave his leg In for the contact and just beats his man
 
Shouldn't have got that far, the ref waved play on for both challenges prior to vardy going down, then when he gives a penalty the ref goes off to book koscielny? **** poor ref!
 
With how he had to stretch to poke the ball away I don't think there is much Vardy can do to get out of the way either to be honest so I doubt its a dive.

This is true however BEFORE that he'd already caught his right foot.

If you don't think that is a pen then you really should have another read of the rule book.

He doesn't have to go around him - what's this "should have zipped round"? He had an opportunity to be fouled, took it, and many people agree it was a penalty.

that's not vardys job so you're saying because the defender has stood in his way, vardy has to get out of the way?

You can't just run into people mate. He made the natural movement of beating his man then changed it to take the contact off Monreal for a penalty. He's looked for the pen and he's fooled the ref and you.

Another pen decision again, gone down to easily, looking for it. It's just blatant cheating
