anyone watching /listening to QPR match - are they Really THAT bad ( bolton are a useful side but to be 4-0 up is pretty ominous for the Rangers)

Not sure, in the first half, I wasn't watching it all, they didn't seem bad. Not sure if that goal before half time knocked the fight out of them, its not rare for that to happen. OG's never help in terms of teams losing any hope of coming back. Its quite possible for two teams to be very close but one team get all the luck.

Is there any reason the owners aren't putting in much money anymore, they were spending silly amounts of the league they were in previously, have they given that up completely now?

Thabnk god for ESPN at my work...get to watch Arsenals first game this season...am so badly hoping that we spank them but i have absolutely no confidence in our defence at the moment...
 
Tabarabaarrbrappppp was pretty much put into a straight jacket according to Final Score. Think it's pretty much going to be the tactic from every team this season, without him QPR seem to be nothing.


And I'm sorry but lol at Wigan, drawing against Nowrich... seriously.

Who have we got to pass to? Who's making runs? Who's making space? As soon as Suarez dropped off the boil the incredible lack of creative talent in our team was exposed.

Fantastic first half, embarrassing second half. Without Suarez we're going to struggle this season.

couldnt control a ball for the life of him, mind you - let alone go past an opposing player (at pace) with it!!!

If anything if Obertan is playing , it should give Arsenal hope!!!

re - my earlier comment I didnt realise Saurez was so unlikely to complete the match. you certainly got it spot on earlier.

Give Henderson time though - it may take a season or two, but I still think (even without him being british) he will be a good / valuable squad member (even if he isnt automatic 1st choice)

Just a hunch mind you

Sunderland deserved that point - they really came back in the second half and liverpool looked short on ideas.
 
Really poor 2nd half; we couldn't string 3 passes together. We should have put the game to bed before HT but for poor finishing and poor decisions from the officials, however the 2nd half wasn't good enough and we should have had enough to still win today.

I thought Flanagan had a shocker and Lucas looked off the pace in midfield. Downing and Enrique were probably our best performers.
