Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [13th - 16th April 2012]

Sooo....predictions for Arsenal-Wigan tonight?

2-0 Arsenal I reckon, I can't see Wigan pulling another surprise out of the bag especially being at the Emirates. Still though, this is Arsenal and it's the end of the season so anything can happen - the only guaranteed outcome is DM having a massive rant and blaming Song, Walcott and Wenger for the poor [insert result here]. :p

Anything is possible, both Wigan and Arsenal hitting good form. 3 points would be amazing, a 1 point would be brilliant, a lost wont be too bad as long as they play well and keep up momentum, QPR beat Arsenal last month, if Arsenal players go into the game thinking they have won, they are in for a shock

I hope Arsenal tear them to pieces. :p

:D

Looking forward to the game tonight, and whilst I like Wigan, I think it might be a bit much for them tonight. Great performances against Man U and Chelsea, it would be a hell of a run if they got a result against Arsenal as well!

I think it will be close though.

Oh no doubt about that and they've had some cracking results, I just think it's a different ballgame away from the DW and also you'd think there might be a bit of a big-game hangover effect.

I agree though even a loss but playing well won't be the end of the world, for Arsenal though it's pretty important they get the 3 points so who knows how that will turn out. Hoping for a good game though!

*edit*

Special stat for DM - if Song plays it will be his 200th appearance for the Gunners!

Wigans home and away form is about the same, Wigan went to Chelsea and gave them a game!

Hoping for a win tonight for Arsenal and reckon it will be a case of playing with patience and wear Wigan down. A hard fought 2-1 victory.

Also liking Gary Neville on sky.
