Wenger has been talking Suarez up again but I'm not sure they will/can spend £80m odd on him.
Hadn't even considered you being able to afford him but that would be worse than Damaged Goods going to Chelsea. We dont need him, and the sale would never happen but Utd were willing and able to spend 85m on Bale in the summer, so that isnt far off the price being discussed

80m is redicolous.
60m is what his worth. His not worth Bale money for petes sake.
Anyways he aint going nowhere this January so Wenger should shut it and concentrate in motivating our players to beat chelsea.
If we can beat chelsea then all will be forgotten last weekend!

He is worth what Liverpool put a pricetag on him, he could easily go for £80mill if a team wants to pay that much ie Real or PSG for instance. Just because you dont think hes worth that, doesnt mean Liverpool dont think that. Putting a huge pricetag on him will warn teams off, no player is worth £50 or £80mill but its what teams will pay to get a player if they are that desperate to have that player.
He's worth what someone will pay for him... that's the old adage anyway. I don't think Liverpool would benefit from selling him, even at an inflated price, but if he wants to stay he's in a great position to dramatically increase his salary and benefits.
Yep thats the saying i was looking for. Liverpool wouldnt benefit from losing him thats a given unless they get an equally good player as Suarez in to replace him. But if they dont get CL football this season and dont challenge for the PL trophy or the FA Cup then i can see him wanting out next summer.
I'd be absolutely shocked if he did leave in Jan and if he does, it wont be to another PL team thats for sure.
Aguero's out for 4-6 weeks. Could make things more interesting at the top.
Considering One Season Wonder went for £80 million and Damaged Goods went to Chelsea for £50 million I'll beif he only went for £60 million.

That's not really any different to how he was last season, it's just getting highlighted far more now people are seeing him in a more positive light. He's looking a lot less selfish and more of a team player, showing now not only can he score, but he can also create for team mates too.

Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere has been suspended for two matches by an Independent Regulatory Commission.
Wilshere was charged by The FA with making an offensive and/or insulting and/or abusive gesture during the fixture between Manchester City and Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday 14 December. The incident was not seen by match officials but was caught on video.
Whilst admitting the charge, Wilshere claimed the standard sanction for this offence was clearly excessive. The Commission rejected this claim and the two match suspension will commence with immediate effect.
