I don't think anyone knows what on earth Fergies plans for Berbatov are, he keeps issuing statements to the media about how he's a crucial part of the team but evidence shows the opposite :confused:

this top scorer bs is just that imo - if you look at how many games he played vs how many he scored in, this is why he is on the bench (not to mention how naturally WR and Chicharito play together , where as majority of the time Berba plays it feels more forced), anyone who scores a few less but in many more individual games counts for a lot more in my book

Worthy experiment to try but really a disappointment when the whole contrct length is considered

Probably just paper talk, but I wouldnt be too surprised if this striker from the MLS that Utd have been linked with recently is paid for by cash generated from Berba being sold in Jan - unless Fergie starts including him in a few games soon (I would be very surprised indeed to see Utd allow his contract to run down to nothing while warming the bench - with or without this extra year that Utd have the option on) -edit Brek Shea is actually a winger, so (even) less likely it will happen given the amount of wingers /wide players Utd have currently

Oh so when jakeke threw his hissy fit and assumed that when I said RVP wasn't the best striker in the league and ergo the best must be a United player he was only joking?

Hissy fit? He made a sarcastic comment that you refuse to let die.

If I had to name somebody throwing a hissy fit in here, it wouldn't be him.
