Park looks a good few yards off the pace in this game. Not impressed with Fletcher either. We need Rooney on. Young plays much better when Rooney plays
 
The amount of long balls and misplaced passes from both sides has been embarrassing but it's a complete stalemate which suits United with the players they have to bring on. We need to step up the pace and get an early goal in the second half. Hope to see Carroll and Bellamy at some point.
 
I really can't work it out, is it not surely a foul by Lucas on Jones, Jones barely moves, the ball is long gone theres no reason for Lucas to be moving at that speed right into Jones and he absolutely whallops him, he's run 15 yards right into him.

Anyway, Utd, poop, lots of Liverpool, poop. Young hasn't really had a single pass into his feet in an area he can run at goal, Fletcher and Park have been rubbish, Welbeck is constantly giving it away, Giggs, barely even noticed him in the final 20 minutes.

Jones has got forward a bit but you can't work without a proper creative central mid in a game like this, someone who would ping a ball in behind the right back for Young to go after, or left back for Park to screw up, or in behind the defence, or create a little space for other players by running at the defence.

If you were going to play Jones in midfield, you don't need Fletcher, not a fan of Anderson/Carrick but either are far better offensively than Fletcher.

Had they started Anderson/Nani they'd have made it far easier, with Rio, Smalling and Jones helping cover at right back they don't "need" Park to work hard defensively down the right, complete overkill.
