Oh sweet baby jesus Jones and Gerrard Allen 2 man midfield, so we have Gerrard's random bursts of energy and nothing from Allen, going to get run over.

Hopefully our front can cause some trouble and scrape a scoring win, doubt we can keep a clean sheet that midfield.

We played a similar formation against Oldham and lost the midfield battle and got raped in the air by Smith so to play exactly the same way against Southampton who have Lambert in the team is really concerning.

we cruised against fulham on the last couple of occassions. hoping we do the same again on sunday.

After poor results against Liverpool and Inter we need to regain some momentum if we want to keep 4th.
