How about not talking about it AT ALL for a month, and if in a month Mata still isn't involved we can call Mourinho names(for that, we can call him names for other things in the meantime). Mata played over the summer, had a very long summer the year before(olympics and euro's with a champs league final before that, and long euro campaign this year) so in all likelyhood it's just a little rotation, an easy start to the season(Hull and Villa before Bayern end of month) and Mata needs the rest anyway.
I would have thought the first game back would have been a statement of intent if Mata was fit by Mourinho.
Anyway as clarified by someone else he is injured.

There wasn't contact, but that was a fairly clear case of jumping to avoid what would otherwise have been a foul, had he not jumped over that outstretched leg it would have taken him down. Question is could he have jumped over it and stayed on his feet, maybe... but then if he'd just kept running it would have been a foul.

It wasn't "jumping" over it was it though? It was "making a meal of it", going over head first onto the floor, therefore coaxing the "foul" from the ref.

Can't argue with that, but they don't need to win this game. They need to win the games against the teams that are going to be around them at the end of the season.

McGregor having a great game, bar giving away the penalty. Pleased that City have dug in a little bit towards the end of half time, but there is a long way to go yet.
