Not wishing to dispute City or Chelsea - who both played well ....at home..... but a lot of the press and general public just don't want to admit how good a TEAM Utd have even without spending £90m~ (while still looking for additions/changes)

Chelsea may not have spent as much as usual (on playing staff at least), but they still have a number of "new" reasonably experienced players - even without looking at Essien who is back after his loan spell in Spain.

Oh I agree. If we can get Rooney, Nani and Kagawa firing away we will do well this season. I watched some of the City game and Newcastle were dire. I have no idea how Newcastle have sunk so low. They have a great team and good players.

Sunderland beat us to the signing!

We've really missed Ba, and I would welcome him back to the club with open arms. Hopefully he's sick of warming the bench at Chelsea, just like he was sick of playing second fiddle to Cisse for half a season...

He's a poacher ffs. He feeds off good delivery, of which we have non. Also, his link-up play is some of the worst I've ever seen so bringing in someone along side him will only worsen things. I just pray Remy gets fit ASAP, but where will Pardew play him? It's like he diseases every decent player we bring in, but yet he's under zero pressure from the press, or anyone else for that matter. It must just be our lazy frenchies letting us down!

I see Pardew has said we're missing Ba too, hahaha. His excuses are hilarious. We miss our top goalscorer who's now 3rd choice at another club? No ****.
 
Hopefully Villa will be brought down back to earth with a huge crash so i can then go and poke that tomparker, who decided to make a thread about his teams win over Villa:p

All in good fun though:)

There was nothing positive to take from that performance against City. I didn't think City looked very good but Newcastle were just dire. I have no doubt that City will be sniffing around the title this season but I would have put money on most of the league to have put at least 3 past you boys if you play like that in the future.
