Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [16th - 20th May 2015]

I'd feel sorry for Young if we do sign Bale as I imagine he'd lose his starting place. He's had an excellent second half of the season, this is probably the best I've seen him in his time at United. Mata and Herrera are really influencing this game, they both look superb.
 
Young has been great this season but we will have plenty of games next season for the squad. There is also the fact that RM will probably get de Gea from us for peanuts and still not have the decency to send Bale the other way.
 
Fair to say we have played pretty well and completely stopped Arsenal from playing at the same time. Good half.
 
Jones and a couple of others cant even have the decency to give Arsenal a goal hahaha

I think Blind, Mata and Falcao each having a good chance to extend the lead (after a brilliantly taken goal from Herrera) might regret those missed chances in the 2nd half

Yep. Arsenal have been poor as well though. Arsenal will keep pushing forward so hopefully we can take advantage of that.
 
We've been **** poor.

Fellani is going a great job shutting us down in midfield, not allowing us to play the ball out from the back. United deserve to be ahead but I can't help but think a decent keeper stops that, it was a good strike but it was perfectly savable.

Aresenal haven't been at their best but we have given them very little time on the ball and harried them all over the pitch.

I don't know how Falcao hasn't pulled out that long hair of his. The number of times we ignore him unless he is 40 yards from the goal is amazing.

Totally destroyed me, Rovers go straight back up, and my beloved Grimsby will be spending their 6th season in non-league.

Penalty shoot out in play-offs is so cruel. :(

Conference football really is a cesspit, they actually get most of the money from the money made in the play-offs, not the actual teams, is this the same in league play-off finals does anyone know?

Also 1 team promoted automatic, 1 team via play-offs, should be more in line with the leagues, 2 or 3 up with another in play-offs.

But thats the point its between league and non league. I think its right currently but IF they were to make a third place then top 2 should be automatic and then next three and third bottom of league 2 should play off.
