I think he has great feet, unfortunately he cannot read a game for ****. He so often gets the ball in a tight area, works a bit of magic to attempt to create some space and then loses the ball because he has no concept of how little time he has. Incredibly frustrating player.

Ozil is not great at breaking down teams when they come to load men behind the ball, he is great when he launching a ball into space. Even though he has been average tonight he has still been the architect for most of our chances.

I really never understood why he wasn't given a chance before. In Rodgers first season Coates came in for Agger (who was suspended), ahead of Carragher, when we played City in the 2nd game of the season and he played really well. He then seemed to get demoted to 4th choice and barely featured again.

I think the boat's gone for him now though.

You don't have to drop anyone, Fabregas and especially Matic need rotating more next season and currently we only have Ramires who can do the job and he's not been great.
Mikel is getting even slower too.
