Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [16th - 21st August 2019]

He was better when he did his one hundred step penalties.

Penalties are only good when they go in. I reckon 50% of penalties that go in are **** penalties but the keeper goes the wrong way or generally makes a mistake. Then the commentators say how it was a great penalty even though it was 3 foot inside the post.

Think that’s a bit harsh. It wasn’t a great pen but it certainly wasn’t poor.

He struck it well and with power. Was just an excellent save.

We ain't getting anything this season with a midfield containing Lingard and McTominay.

Lingard is 26!? How is he still managing to start games for United, he's awful.

(that said that's got to be one of the worst united benches i've seen in a while)

Moss is a dreadful ref, that's an absolute blatant yellow card for Neves but because it'd equal a red he's bottled it.

Cynical as it gets to prevent the break = yellow.

That's exactly what I thought!

Solskjær hasn't managed this game very well, we've been non effective in the 2nd half and he hasn't made any changes until 4 minutes left, and even then, he's made the wrong substitutions.

Wouldn't have brought Mata on in this game, he hasn't done anything since he came on.
