Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [16th - 21st August 2019]

Martial is a massive pansy when it comes to any contested balls. Should have been a tap in there.

Can't stand Sean Dyche but he's right about the lack of punishment, a yellow is way too soft.

You don't save those, great finish from Martial

What about professional fouls to stop an attack that is likely to lead to a goal. What about those "fouls" where there is contact but it wouldn't knock a toddler off their stride? I don't condone diving but there are plenty of other things that are just as bad. At least VAR can stop diving that leads to goals.

Dare I say it, we’re looking quite confident and controlled on the whole. Quite like this starting 11.

Everyone looks quite sharp tonight which is a rarity. Hopefully that goal will bring Wolves out of their shell a bit because they were totally happy to sit with 10 men behind the ball for the first half an hour. They are a decent side so they should have a go.

Moutinho is a little ****. Goes to ground, kicks Pogba and then get a tap on the shin and acts like hes been shot and gets the foul.
