I often wonder if there is absolutely nothing going on between his ears. You can bet that 90% of the time he won't do anything and will just pass backwards. The other 9.9% of the time you could put your house on the fact he will run at a snails pace at a defender and then hit it at a predefined time regardless of if there is space or what is in the way.

He is just the most frustrating player ever.

as much as i rate eriksen, he really does need to go in with more intent for 50/50 balls

To be fair, that was a pretty simple penalty decision for the ref and they rarely give them without appealing.
