Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [17th - 19th September 2011]

:o We've been terrible in our past few games, I've honestly never seen us play as bad as we are playing now - what ever was left of our 'beautiful football' is well and truly gone.

Blackburn isn't fun away but I still fully expect us to go and get a win. Hopefully some of the new guys can score because the confidence in the team looks like it's at an all time low.

Has there been an update on Wilshere? I'd hate to see where we'd end up without him in the side for the next few games.
 
Well the last time there was a game at 1330 at White Hart Lane then another at 1600 at Old Trafford, the northern teams scored 13 goals and the southern teams scored 3.

Same again please!
 
Well be a tough away game for us on Sunday, Spurs did the double over us last year and seem to love facing us, Were allot stronger now so i just hope we get something be a difficult game.

I reckon Coates will get his run out too if not pair Agger/Skrtel, Skrtel is very very under rated here imo
 
I can't imagine a player of his quality would be happy as playing a bit-part. He should be a leading player for most teams, not third or fourth choice sitting on the bench every week in the league and completely omitted from the squad in European games...
 
How do you fit him into the squad now? United are on their best start to the season ever with the most goals scored in 4 games.

Oh well, theres always a chance he will play against Leeds on Tuesday. :p

If you can't fit him in then is it wise to be paying his massive wages if you've no intention of using him? A player of Berbatov's quality deserves to be playing every week and it's not as if Utd don't have any cover up front.

Got a quid on Van Persie to score first.

Need Arsenal to perform here cos it's actually quite depressing watching them now. They used to be the pinnacle of attractive football in England.
 
Wolves v QPR could be in doubt for this afternoon, power cut in Wolverhampton City centre and it has affected Molineux and has no power, yet the webcam for the building of the new North Bank stand is still running...

I think it will be interesting when Verm gets back. Still lots of doubters out there about Santos' defensive abilities and will be good to see him play. Also looking forward to the CC game too. Be nice to see some Ryo, chamberlain and Walcott in the same team. Would be some immense pace.
