It's clear the team are finding their feet a bit. It's unfortunate it's a trial by fire in a league game but at least scoring doesn't look implausible. I agree w/trying something a little different 2nd half but this is Wenger and it'll probably be the same till 65-70mins in.

They're sitting so deep it's going to be fiddly to get a goal without it either being scrappy or spectacular.
 
Well half time and same old story not putting chances away though the balance seems better, No one could have stopped there goal.

Lucas is playing well, Borini isnt getting brought into the game much with the people around him.

Dowd sucks and whilst i get people tackle each other Olsen seems to need to fly his arms and head into every one

Pretty much spot on. I was under the impression that Podolski is a winger, he seems to play that position in the German team so seeing him upfront was a bit surprising.

But yes get shot of Gervinho, put Pod on the wing and Giroud upfront.

He plays there for the national side because they have Klose and more recently Gomez, but for Cologne he played more as a striker, he said it's his preferred position too.

Ahhh right thanks for clearing that up, i was about to have a rant at Wenger once again playing people out of their preferred position:p.

Hopefully he can bag a goal today, will do wonders for his confidence as well because without RVP now, we are kinda relying on him and Giroud to score goals now.

I would actually prefer to see Podolski starting games on the left, the only problem then is we only have Podolski and Giroud as our "quality" strikers, if anything happens to them then we're going to be relying on Chamakh, Park and the greatest striker that ever lived which is only going to end in tears. :p

LOL Bender??...who knows he could come back and score 30 goals for us:p...wishful thinking that is but never say never:p.
 
OH LOOK, NO YELLOW CARD FOR ANOTHER CYNICAL FOUL.

Suarez looks funny at the referee, yellow card.

Allen has looked really nice on the ball, pretty pleased, never watched him at Swansea.

He's been saying for months that all these great teams want him and he's got so many offers from all around Europe... :D

Anyway here we go, let's hope the sun reflects off Gerv's massive forehead, blinding Mignolet momentarily.
