Good half for us :D cant complain too much, Shelvey done well id just like us to attack more last 5mins didnt seem to go for it like we can also be nice to get Suarez involved more.

Honestly, we looked buggered fitness wise.
Suarez was out of energy by 30 mins, and the rest shortly after.
Must be hard training and playing in the conditions we've had lately .
 
Good half but we need an early goal in the second half to kill the game off. Impressed with Bellamy, Henderson and Adams again.

If I was a Villa supporter that half would embarrass me. Misplaced passes, mis-controlled balls and very few 50/50 challenges won. They don't seem to have any team spirit or fight

The fact that their players aren't designated specific players to pick-up from set-plays doesn't help them; every corner we've had their defenders have been marking different players.

Considering Skrtel and Agger are the only aerial threats we have (and neither are that strong in the air), you have to wonder why Hutton was making Skrtel for our 2nd goal with Heskey was marking Shelvey :confused:

As for our performance so far; we've not played especially well but we haven't had to. Villa look terrible and we don't need to get out of 1st gear.

Yup but im not surprised Suarez is knackered i fear we will burn him out and rely on him too much and we have allready imo.

As PK said this game would suite Carroll i just dont think he is part of our plans anymore.

Its okay, he'l probably be on an enforced winter break soon anyway =/

Seriously, how come crowds are so low? It can't just be because of a lack of interest can it? I mean, Wigan are playing one of the "Sky 5" and still can't manage over 20'000?

Small town, surround by Liverpool/Manchester so everyone over 30 supports them, dont forget half of the town support Rugby league team and the two dont mix
