Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [17th - 22nd December 2011]

FT .. what a boring match =/ professional performance considering we have quite a few games coming up but still. Usually go to all our games in the midlands but glad i never went to this!
 
Good result but an average performance.

Defence were incredible, midfield controlled the game but we looked toothless upfront for most of the game again. Suarez could've had a couple to make it 4-0 but truth be told we should've won this by 5 or 6, Villa were that bad.

Villa are terrible, considering how much money they have spent and people call Wigan for being dire.

Villa could easily go down.

I have a feeling that we are gonna get tanked by City...they just have too much quality in their side.

Saying that i have slim hopes that maybe we can get a result today...fingers crossed.
 
Not particularly confident in Djourou and with Mertesacker alongside him we will surely be in for some headaches down that side. Vermaelen will do the job at left back but Djourou at right back doesn't instill confidence in me.

Come on Arsenal!
