Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [17th - 22nd December 2011]

Hutton is a waste of space & not only that wreckless.

He really is a violent little ****, he's ALWAYS doing reckless challenges, I can't remember, he did a really bad one a month or so ago but can't remember who it was against. did he get punished afterwards for that one?

Anyway, from what I saw fairly lucky for West Brom, but Newcastle were always going to be vulnerable at the back tonight till they get some defenders back, or maybe some new ones in early Jan.

Arsenal, pretty lucky to get a win from that second half performance. villa dominated for a huge portion of it, thank god they suck upfront in general this season, and in midfield, they should have punished us badly well before we got the winner.

Newcastle... Hull City. lol

Nah.

Although after them Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City I was thinking we could have got maybe 2 or 3 wins out of Norwich, Swansea, West Brom....

Oh well... :(

Lesser team?

As in, we were all over them for the whole match and the ref screwed us out of two goals and a penalty. Under any other circumstances we would have put five away tonight. That's what I mean by lesser team.

Don't try and pull me up on some passing comment as if I'm making some grandiose statement about Newcastle being a big team or similar.

Just like Swansea the other day — we just couldn't get the ball in the back of the net. The difference being, tonight we did it four times but only two of them counted.

Arteta was bossing it. And Rosicky did really surprisingly well when he came on too. Whole team looked very tired though :(.

Arterta was one of the few players who never misplaced a pass. Rosicky being more attacking than Frimpong helped pull the game back into their half more. Beneyoun was great, like Arteta he tends to keep the ball well and makes space for others. Anyway, good win against the ginger testicle!

Well that's genuinely how it came across. Newcastle fans getting carried away by their start to the season?

Nothing happened to him afterwards as far as I know but it was on Shane Long a West Brom player. But Chris Herd had his red card overturned, But to be honest on that day Hutton should have been sent off.
