Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [17th - 22nd December 2011]

Worst game I've seen in ages based on the first half, I actually got up to do some hoovering after 41mins.

Personally I don't rate Wigan at all and find them very dull but referring to them as "dog****" isn't really acceptable.

chelsea hardly deserved the point they got, they were shockingly bad.

Wigan may not be great, but they worked hard and were undone by one single decent pass whereas Chelsea had lots of possession but did little with it. AVB then tried to go defensive at 1-0 with Mikel sub rather than go offensive and given the pen should feel lucky getting a point

Two fantastic goals from WBA today, the first especially.

I really feel for Kean too. No man should have to go through that many post match interviews of the same consistent "So, everyone hates you, where do you go from here?".

Well its 10 to 6 and I'm starting my day to go to pompy away!

Please everyone watch it on the BBC instead of boring prem matches as you'll probably see me standing in the crowd with a bald man and a short guy... :D

28'600 at Hillsborough today, fantastic crowd :)

Was a very good game, bitterly disappointing mind.

5 minutes of extra time at the end of the second half, Huddersfield score in the 7th minute of extra time, it literally felt like we were playing until they scored.

Other then a terrible opening 20 minutes from Wednesday (which saw us rightly go two down) we looked much the better side. We controlled long periods of the game and all but the last 5-10 minutes of the second half, but it was a fantastic game really from start to finish for a natural. Bitterly disappointed with the result still. Also, John Parkin has lost weight, I wonder what's happened to the other footballer that was inside him now he's free? As they say, inside every John Parkin there are two footballers wanting to get out :p

Lee Clarke didn't stop giving abuse to the fourth official (Megson shouts 90% of the time at the players for not doing things, not the officials) and then promptly started an argument with the crowd upon the final whistle.

Crazy to think Chelsea won 6-0 last time at the DW

Crazy to think that a League One match had 10'000 more fans then that type of fixture too.

Seriously, how come crowds are so low? It can't just be because of a lack of interest can it? I mean, Wigan are playing one of the "Sky 5" and still can't manage over 20'000?

I hope they go down, purely because they nicked our best manager and half the back room staff :p

Maybe theirs fans should stop going to old trafford to see games and go thier own clubs games;):D

Just to balance this out, I have copious amounts of Koppaberg, some brilliant food lined up and peace and quiet to enjoy the football in. (I also have a very attractive lady friend who's coming over and she plays and loves football)

So, while you two are working and travelling, I'll enjoy a day of football. If you want I can keep you updated?
