Games like today are what's stopping me being truly convinced by Rodgers. Whenever things seem to be going well he goes and makes a decision like his starting 11 today.

Rodgers arguably cost us 2 points today and I'm very concerned it took 45 minutes for him to realise 4-2-4 with Gerrard and Henderson wasn't working.

The sensible option would've been to play 4-3-3 and try and control the midfield and squeeze Villa back but with Gerrard in the team bypassing midfield with aimless long balls I can understand why Rodgers chose to play that way.

Not as confident of getting 4th as I was a few games ago.

With regard Suarez it's yet another entry on an incredible list of crimes against football.

For all the amazing, sometimes jaw dropping stuff he does I have simply seen enough of his BS.

Commentators seem to be gutless when it comes to incidents like that.
They use terms like "shrewd" or "clever" when all that's really needed is "dive".
Hopefully someone in the MoTD studio will have the balls to call it as it was.
