A head start on what, Moyes is looking at a Champions League spot at best, he isn't even competing with the likes of Chelsea, City and Arsenal.

As stock market business goes, maybe they got Moyes in to devalue the club, buy back the stock then get a proper manager in and increase the value again
I mean let them go 3-0 up and then go 3 at the back?
When have you ever seen that work? I imagine he's thinking keep it tight as we can and try and get back into, going 3 at the back would be suicide.

If this is the case, then they must have thought that Moyes really is a terrible manager and will guarantee their plan to work.
That's hurtful to read.
Never before would Man Utd be thinking like this. But under Moyes, what you have written, is actually true. Moyes just isnt good enough to go toe-to-toe with the likes of Wenger, Mourinho or Man City's huge wallet.
