Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [18th - 21st January 2014]

I don't want him to fail. Why would I want that? How does that benefit me when I want to watch United and instead feel like turning the match off 50 minutes into the game?

Tag along glory supporter? Thing is I knew he'd fail. Read back, who wrote today is the day football died on the day of his appointment. Answer, it wasn't you. Or any of the Utd fans who are suddenly jumping on the Moyes out or the it's not Moyes fault bandwagon.

You are always negative though. It's easy to sit there and assume he's more than likely going to struggle, then try and say "I told you so", like you're some sort of expert. Of course SAF going after 26 years was going to make everything really difficult, it hasn't happened to any other modern team, nothing even close. Considering everything, 6 months isn't giving him much of a chance, especially when he's been lacking our two best players (by far, the rest don't compare except De Gea).

You are taking a very simplistic view, and not considering all the different factors. I don't think you'll ever understand it. If you're of the mindset that we came first last season therefore the fact we're now 7th is entirely down to the manager and nothing else - then there's little hope trying to make you understand something that to me at least is very obvious.

Popping up with a Moyes out one-liner every weekend isn't helping and is just lazy, meaningless support. You want him to fail. That's not support, it's tag-along glory hunting.

Just another one of those fans on here that also got on Fergies back after 5 games, telling us he had lost the plot and should go. To then shout well done my son in May when the title was all wrapped up.

The greatest manager we have ever seen was not good enough most of the time, what hope is there for anyone else?

The same reason he won't name a manager he would actually like, because then he can't sit there bleating over every failed pass every single match.

Yep, was exactly the same the last few seasons. Didn't do too badly, did we (aside from poor transfer business).

I think I wad chief whip of the fergie out campaign fir a number of years now. I didn't have many supporters here, but now suddenly he's gone and he left a terrible squad. You can't have it both ways.

How about shots (on and off target) lol

I remember he missed one:):(

No idea, just something I saw this morning.

He missed the one where he got wiped out as he was taking the shot!

Remember who's been knocking the goals in whilst RvP and Rooney have been out ;)

Was anything said about this on MOTD or after the game on Sky? I remember at half time Hoddle said it was never a penalty!? Granted it was probably impossible for the referee to see it at full speed but on the replay it was blatantly obvious that his standing leg was taken just before he struck the ball and it had changed the outcome of his shot completely.

Hoddle said it wasn't, Souness (of all people) said it was. I thought he's fluffed it at first but then in slow motion he takes his leg like you say, it was a penalty in my eyes but I can see why it wasn't given, all happened way too fast.

Were these to their keeper? :p

LEAVE DANNY ALONE!!1!!

It's no different to his handball in the FA Cup. Ball struck his hand and went in yet it was only a few pundits that accused him of cheating. Most defended him and said they would have done the same yet he got vilified by the papers and supporters of other teams.
