Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [18th - 22nd November 2016]

If i was a Saints fan and i went to see them not play this much football id be ****ed off, ****ing ****e, park bus the entire game!

They were hardly going to do much else, we're not delivering going forward at the moment - when we're playing teams that won't strike back it's fine and we can keep pushing and just wait for that breakthrough but we'd have been torn to pieces if we'd tried that against an attacking Liverpool team. Maybe once Long and Redmond start putting a few away again we'd be more tempted to have a go at a team like Liverpool currently.

As it was we only scraped a draw due to some relatively good fortune in front of our own goalmouth.

Footballers are complete idiots. Why did Janssen do that? Everyone knows what the rules are like this season, and especially with Dean reffing.

I didn't watch the match I'm frankly sick of seeing West Ham on TV considering how bad they are. Good on Spurs for beating them.

Don't mind West Ham, but **** the clubs owners and this rubbish about 'best stadium migration evs'.

Mike Dean obviously had money on a red card in the second half.

Poch stuck to a 4-2-3-1 rigidly last season but seems to be experimenting more this season - possibly due to injuries. The 4-3-1-2 Spurs played in the first half was definitely an experiment that didn't work. Kane and Janssen both made the same runs and weren't getting any service.

Kane dropped deeper in the second half and that seemed to work better. Son came on, gave the ball away a million times (not shown on MotD!) but then made the crucial difference. Dele Alli looked good when he came on too.

Say what you like about Kane, his attitude is bang on. Scored an equaliser in the 89th minute and all he wanted to do was pick the ball out of the net and get on with scoring the winner. Balls of steel to take that penalty too.

Expecting nothing from Chelsea this afternoon, just hope its not a cricket score :| We will park the bus like against arsenal and man City.
