Yaya with another!

Can't disagree, I used to love watching England play back in the day, now i'd prefer it if international football just ****** off.

Ah good idea Klopp, throw him on with thirty seconds to go.

Shades of Kenny this

If i was a Saints fan and i went to see them not play this much football id be ****ed off, ****ing ****e, park bus the entire game!

I'd just be disappointed no effort has been made on counter consider how garbage we are under a quick bit of pressure

Terrible. Had more than enough chances to win it but didn't play very well vs a bad team, Klopp spent too long hoping for something to happen.

Summed up well by Coutinho in the end there, shouldn't have been on first half

Wasted chances, Klopp made no effort to change early on so points dropped vs a pathetic Saints side who didnt want to do anything but sit in there own half

If there wasn't a international break we would have won that easily. Joys of having our attacking players consist of two Brazilians that have to fly to the other side of the world and one injured.

Still if we had one bit of luck we would have put one of the chances we had in.

What do you expect Southampton to do, they come out and attack constantly they would get battered.

Annoying not to take there points there, still at least its a clean sheet for once. :p

Not a great performance but we done more than enough to win that. Poor finishing, particularly in the 2nd half cost us the win.

Thats the worry for me with Liverpool as title contenders. As the season reaches its climax more and more teams will just park the bus and Im not convinced that Liverpool have a plan for how to break through a team who only want to not lose. I can foresee the latter stages of the season being a time where Liverpools lack of breakthrough ability results in a lot of 1pts instead of 3pts.

I don't think that will be too much of an issue if the players are fully fit and not tired. Coutinho wasn't anywhere near his best today, there was no quick one touch passing though the lines between the front 3/4 today. Everything was much slower then we have become used to seeing now. Everyone up front just looked tired today.

As a plus point we didn't look like conceding at any point and we got a point out of it, unlike at Burnley.

We created a load of chances today but poor finishing cost us. If this was a common theme I'd be worried but we usually score a load of goals and we played very well again so I'm not really concerned.

Southampton were lucky we didn't score rather than water tight tbh.

Other than Arsenal and maybe Spurs every side we've faced this season has tried to park the bus and we've found a way to break through. It wasn't as if we didn't create chances today either - Mane in the first half should score and then Matip, Firmino and Clyne all missed sitters in the 2nd half. Another day we win that 2 or 3-0.

That would be my assessment as well.
