Very pessimistic about our season now. We had a run of about 4 games where we won some games, and now we have reverted back to the typical Newcastle. No energy, no determination.

Add to that the list of injuries again (Krul, Colo, Santon, Taylor) and quite clearly the others are not 100% fit yet (Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Sissoko, Mbia, Tiote, Cisse, Debuchy).

Europe has hit us hard, we were not prepared, nor did we have the squad to deal with it. I'm hoping that now we are out, we can fully focus on staying up. And build in the summer to mount a challenge again for the 2013/14 season...

Last game of the season I am missing, then again there was no cheap way to get to Swansea so I left it. At home they parked the bus and lumped it to no one, got a feeling this game will be a lot more open and entertaining, though we probably wont win it.

Other than the Fulham Arsenal game though all premier league games on saturday amazingly important must wins! Should be a good set of games and if all goes well should be watching the Brentford game on sky

Other than the Fulham Arsenal game? Arsenal need to win to stand a chance of staying in the top 4. I'd say every game is a must win. Should be a good MOTD.

As always, can see us dropping more points this weekend :(

Definitely need to beat Fulham this weekend if we want any chance of getting into the top 4, uif we do then we have a bit of a gap over Spurs...who i hope City beat them, could do with some help from Nasri;).

Will be disappointed if we end up with another draw like we did against Everton.

No idea why I'm going to this.

This fixture last season was some of the best football I've ever seen us play, what are the chances of a repeat?! All I know is there has to be a reaction to Sunday's shambles. No Europe so no excuses, a point is a must.

Norwich (still to play Stoke and Villa)
Sunderland (still to play Stoke and Villa)
Stoke (still to play Norwich and Sunderland)
Villa (still to play Norwich, Sunderland and Wigan)
Wigan (still to play Villa)

These fixtures may save us, even if we fail to win another game.

Grrr more injuury concerns for our game against Fulham...Wilshere is a doubt and is being given a fitness test to see if he can play. AOC, Carzola and Rosicknote are all doubtful, Rosicknote with a hamstring injury from a couple of weeks ago :/

Its brilliant how easy our players get injured, really brilliant:p

That's going to be a cracking day of football on Sunday

Gonna go with a City and Liverpool win

Too right! :p

I've booked my train up and hotel for the night... on my own. Loser...

Going to be a terrifying match (and week). Our sturdy CB has been banned for 3 matches and we've now got the choice between two 18 year olds with no first team experience, or a lifelong Bees player who has barely played over the last 2 years through injury and isn't a CB.

Our situation is: We need to at least match the Doncaster result and then beat them on the final day of the season in order to go up automatically. I think if we match them on Saturday, and then beat them by 1 goal... then the decision goes down to the fourth factor. We'll have the same points, the same goal difference, same results in our games against each other... but we'd miss out on promotion on goals scored :( If that happened I might spend 3 months crying over the summer. Edit - turns out we're on exactly the same goals scored too! Means that if it's all even, there would be a play-off game! :o

Also, to make it more tense our game is a late kick off. So we'll know the Bournemouth and Doncaster scores by the time we get under way on Saturday.

If Bale isn't back I can't see Spurs getting anything against City, they are awful without him and, to a lesser extent, Lennon.

Pardew sent the team away for 2 days and gave them the days off

Play **** and they get days off.

Not confident in the slightest. Loss in this one.

Anyone watched fergies press conference? What was his demeanour like when asked about Rooney?

Haven't seen it but just read the quotes..... Hardly a definitive answer was it :/

EDIT: Ok just seen it and yeah not as bad as the quotes appear. Panic over.

EDIT 2: Bale has been passed fit for the Spurs/City game. Spurs might just squeeze a draw now...
