It isn't just that - we didn't have anyone on the bench who could make a difference in the 2nd half. Got no depth, no one who can change a game. As the chants go in every game now 'he left cos you're ****, he left cos you're ****, he's Robin Van Persie, he left cos you're ****.' and it's true.

7th wouldn't be an unrealistic place for us to finish this year.

Every year we score early and go on to lose. It is a painful game to watch year in year out.

I will be delighted with a draw but even not taking the lead and subsequently losing will be less heart breaking than the usual capitulation after early hope.
