Don't think he was injured, Adkins was just rather indecisive about who he wanted in goal
 
Would have taken a point at the start so I'm happy with that. It's just a pity we missed those chances in the first half as things could have been even better.

Get a couple of new faces in this window to make up for where we lack a bit of depth and hopefully we'll be ok.

I was glad the crowd didn't end up outrageously counter productive tonight and I believe I heard a positive chant for the new manager. No point doing anything but support the club moving forward so I was pleased with that.
 
Longest drive ever home but I am happy with a point. First half we were so unlucky not to be ahead, Tim Howard is a beast (despite his kicking). Second half Everton has basically the same thing but Boruc being a beast (apart from his kicking). 0-0 was fair really.

Few rubbish things Fellani is a beast, but a horrible and dirty player. No idea why he thinks its ok to fall over at nothing then elbow everyone around him in the face. Good footballer, just a dirty cheat.

We could have shown a bit of class and only sung about Adkins once, 3 times was just too many, especially as on about 65 mins we did it and it just made the players drop so badly giving Everton their best 2 chances.

We also need to get rid of Puncheon and De Ridder, both were appalling, but new manager bloke seems to have good ideas for Guly and Gaston who with Lambert looked deadly upfront.

Boruc has just been out of favour, massively overweight when we signed him up, Adkins refused to give him a run of games (not really the right attitude I assume) and has ended up as our first choice because the other two have been so humiliatingly bad (Kelvin Davis on for another bash at his most let in award from when Sunderland last got relegated).

Last few games he's starting to get into it, has a great throw and gets behind everything (though we've been too used to someone who is just always beaten unless its straight at him so a good keeper is still a novelty).
 
Forgot that we are playing West Ham tonight at home, wonder if we will get back to winning ways. Chamakh cant play for West Ham against us, would have been hilarious if was able to and then scored a hattrick against us:p

Will probably draw or lose this one if im being honest, no longer have any optimism about us winning games anymore :(. One thing is for sure, we wont make it an easy game for ourselves tonight.

:D well I'd rather not get my hopes up that we will win only to see us lose again. Too many times this season that has happened ie seeing us in a winning position only to see us lose due to complacency in the side.
 
Anyone else hear the commentator say Walcock then, I think I have a new favourite commentator.

Arsenal, losing again, to a poo team who are horrendous away from home, just increased their away scoring total by 20%....
 
Great goal, and great by Wilshire there, he got the ball with his back to goal, but was aware of where everyone was, made a very nice little pass cutting out a few players and putting Podolski in with a gap to goal and a really great shot by Podolski, thank **** we still have a couple of quality players.

This is the main reason I think buying someone like Villa would be a mistake, age, cost, wage aside Podolski should be moved upfront to play as a striker, he's quality, and buy a left winger who is an actual left winger.

Turning into the Podolski show now, scored, set two up, great ball for Walcock, great interplay for Santi's goal, West Ham, lol, they really are terrible away from home and getting worse.
