I say next match we stick Jones on the wing instead of Park, he's so much better.
Surely that would actually be the God that is Nani's position (doubt Jones would play on the left) - Nani's crosses were brilliant yesterday......not ONE finding one of his own players, yet another completely invisible game from the Portuguese
(Im not saying many others were any good - in fact most were pretty dreadful).........oohh not to forget the ineptly taken corners right at the end which were a complete waste of time
Yet another matchwinner from Chichariton in the first 20 minutes - yet he isnt meant to be a good starter according to some here......very entertaining that game would have been without him on the field lol (and probably 2 points dropped)
I fully expect the above points to be heavily disputed by a few here, but it will be good for a laugh at least
I think people in general are missing the point of Berbatov, he unlocks defences effortlessly, but as he isn't running around like mad 100% of the time people think he's lazy and rubbish.
He needs to be playing, and playing properly, not the odd sub appearance here and there. Man Utd bought him to play with Rooney, so play them together and tell Rooney to stop playing in central midfield. Then swap in Hernandez depending on how the game is going.
I suppose this isn't helped by our lack of a decent/fit creative midfielder.
And what about when Rooney is out/rested, then you have a striker (Berba) who cant play with anyone else (who only scored in one in 5 matches when WR was out last season) and a 2nd striker who is used to coming off the bench pplaying fresh against tired defences - a sure fire way of not scoring any goals at all.
At least this way, we have a young striker (scoring matchwinners early into the bargain) getting more and more ingrained in the team and getting productive with it. Its a bit harsh blaming Chicharito for yesterday when Rooney was playing more as a 5th midfielder yesterday, so that made Chicharito's role a lot more difficult (and not one he is really adept at yet).
There were a lot of things wrong with yesterday (not least Fletcher coming on without a change on the left wing as well) but I can only see giving Chicharito starts as a benefit to the team in the long run (rather than an older striker who isnt exactly consistant or prolific most of the time, who usually slows the play down considerably, who isnt likely to be at Utd for more than 18 months anyway, and possibly only 6 months)
