Spurs with Modric, Bale and Kane would have been immense!
Yeah, that would be a fantastic team but as is always the case with pretty much every team bar RM, Barca and Bayern, you simply can't keep world class players for very long when one of those boys come knocking.

I would class United as well. With the exception on Ronaldo we have never given anyone away without reason.
Not sure I agree with that. Simple fact is that we haven't had any players bar DDG that Barca, Real or Bayern really really want since Ronaldo. They haven't seriously come in for DDG yet but I'm sure they will in the next few years.

Still doesn't change the fact we have bought who we want and sold who we want when we wanted with the exception of Ronaldo. I am sure there are plenty of players the Spanish clubs wanted but could never get over the past twenty years. I agree it is a lot harder to keep hold of South American and Spanish players mind.

Deserve to be losing at half time really. Lack of effort and lack of ambition shown by us in that half. Team selection wasnt great, we really dont need both Can and Wijnaldum against a team like Swansea, just one of those would do. Overall we've just kind of drifted about the pitch, noticeably less effort and impetus than in previous matches, just sort of looked like we were expecting it to be a win and so dont need to try hard.
