Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [1st - 3rd January 2019]

Good result, the changes to the 11 highlighted the squad issues. Media might go over board if this continues, but we are realistically years from getting back to competing at the top as the squad needs a turnover. More positives from the new attitude. Lindelof looks to be getting confident and Pogba still had his moments.

It will take some time to get a full depth squad, but conversely if Utd can get a top quality centre half, a right full back and a right winger (Greenwood / Chong are good options to develop but need someone in their mid-20s who likes to stay wide),....maybe even a matic alternate we will claim back a lot of the stupidly dropped points from earlier in the season

We are currently only 10 points off 2nd (admittedly dependant on tomorrow's game) - and yes I know Spurs, Chelsea and City have all dropped silly points too, but arguably ours should be easier to fix even with the half of the above.

I doubt we could get a lot of ££ from sales but the likes of Rojo/Jones/Smalling/ Fellaini should get a bit of money back while allowing the likes of Valencia /Young /Mata? to leave (would be the sensible thing to do, but EW is unlikely to do that)

Doucoure should've gone in the Bournemouth v Watford game for a bad tackle as well.

Will be interesting to see how much more dangerous Schindler and Brady's tackles were in the Huddersfield vs Burnley game to warrant their reds.

Wolves are nearly as bonkers as Everton. How can they beat Spurs & Chelsea, get points vs Arsenal, City and Utd but lose to the likes of Palace, Huddersfield and Cardiff?
