It seems that some of today's refs really struggle in uptempo gritty games. Olivers struggling here and tbh, yesterday, Anthony Taylor looked panic stricken at times.

Yeah I wondered what Jones was doing further up the field than Carrick and he showed he shouldn't be with that pass.
Bad collapse by Liverpool, we were cruising and got totally complacent. We got in front and then came right off the pedal and acted like we had already won. Players ran a little less , passed more casually, closed down with less emphasis.
However.....
Its one match, one result, and at the end of the day we are still above Man City and I firmly believe that anyone who can finish above Man City is in with a shout of the title. We've still only lost 2 games this season, its still our best start in terms of points for several years. We need to delve into the transfer market in January, primarily to pick up a new defender, surely got to pull out all the stops to get Van Dijk. Matip and Dijk in defence would be pretty damned good imo.
Theres still a long way to go and as I say, anyone above Man City is in with a chance.
However.....
