Sturtidge looks a completely different player since he left Chelsea, i used to put him in the same bracket as Welbeck (completely useless) but he seems to be quite a decent player now with a lot of potential.

Who's Enrique playing for today? Got his crazy head on at the moment. Not releasing the ball and keeps passing it back to City.
He always was good just not used right and in and out of city and Chelsea never got a good run really

Sturridge is looking like the player I saw glimpses of at Man City, like something is going to happen every time he touchs the ball. Encouraging for England,

Ye i seem to remember him being played out wide at Chelsea, dont think he ever was a winger probably just not played enough in his regular position.

Good half for us but Sturridge really needs to release the ball quicker. He always looks to turn and attack the goal rather than play it to players who are in acres of space. Hopefully something that'll improve in his game with age and experience.
