Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [2 - 3rd November 2013]

Sunderland keeper (Westwood?) off injured too.

Cannot believe we lost to them :o suppose its proof anything can happen on a derby day.

lol, those happen every now and then, jesus, the snap back on his neck looks so painful.

The sunderland game, just seen the highlights of first half, Cattermole replay wasn't brilliant, it was dangerous but no good angle to see the contact and far off camera. The Dossena challenge was a terrible stamp into his shin, from the side at least rather than the front or could have been a horrible result. Thing is they complained about the Dossena one when it was clear as day, no one at all complained about Cattermole's red and he was already walking off before the ref gave the red so I can only assume it was much worse than Dossena's.

Will laugh so much if Hull can't actually score a goal themselves against a 9 man sunderland, I'd laugh if they couldn't score against a 11 man Sunderland let alone 9 men.

FFS City hammering Norwich 4-0 and Utd hammering Fulham 3-0 :(. Geezus Fulham are going to down this year, they have been absolutely atrocious.

With only a 1/4 of the season gone, Sunderland and CP are practically gone already, but the last team to go down is still from at least 6 other teams. Even Swansea in 12 are only 3 points above 18th

At this stage almost anything can happen, Sunderland I don't think got the right manager to turn it around, Palace have improved significantly already but they could get 10 times better and still lose most of their games, give them a bit of time.

West Brom/Swansea both started off the season with last years woeful form but after hte first 3-4 games have picked up significantly.

Villa/West Ham/Norwich certainly aren't playing well and Cardiff will probably be in the relegation fight.

Thing is Fulham were 15th before today, 16th now(with results as they are), but they've already played and beaten Sunderland and Palace.

Fulham have a lot of genuinely very good players, plenty of decent ones, I think firing Jol and a half decent manager and midtable comfort is very easily within that teams capability.

At this stage I would say team/squad wise Sunderland/Palace/Cardiff are favourites to go down, with Norwich not far off, not enough goals in them. Fulham have probably the strongest "relegation battle" squads, with a manager who doesn't have a clue how to get the best out of them.

Ramirez on the pitch for the first time in ages, doesn't have very much time to make a difference, horrible conditions too.

What is the point in Jones in midfield? the reason Fulham scored is because Rooney is doing his job for him! MOVE YOUR ASS JONES, DO YOUR JOB!
