Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [2 - 4th March 2013]

Haahaha... my mate who's a Villa fan thinks Clark is shocking and a month or so a go Clark's sister had a massive ranting session at him and Barry Bannan's sister got involved in it as well. :D :D

think that stat on before and after Rodwell substitution is a little unfair on him, as the change of bringing on a second striker was what probably prompted the possession moving further up.

However Rodwell really doesn't offer anything to city's play when he's on, ineffectual at best, with a mistake in him.

City, or Mancini are pretty pathetic, one striker against one of the worst teams, worst woeful scoring and conceding record. City's negative attitude is a huge part of why they have sucked this season. Going one striker against a team deservedly in bottom 3 is pretty god damned shameful, and they were better after Rodwell went off for one of their most inform players.

Yet if Aguero was fit, another of their inform players, the goal scorer, would likely have not started.

Clarke, lol, so suicidal in defence Liverpool or Arsenal will probably be buying him after Villa get relegated, he'd fit right in with either defence.

Then Rodwell... did they not learn their lesson with Hargreaves, at least he was a free anyone paying for Rodwell was stupid, let alone that much. I still can't see anything that suggests he'd be worth that fee IF he wasn't a sick note. Well done to Mancini for ditching a quality central midfield player and buying an overpriced sicknote, genius.

I can't remember one entertaining Premiership tie on Sky this season. Another boring game.

I didn't think it was that bad, despite the defending for the goal I thought Villa were unlucky to come away with nothing.

Whoever took that final corner and hit it straight out needs a slap though.
