Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [20th - 21st September 2014]

We could line up with Masch and Momo behind Gerrard and I'd think any goal or attack would be blamed on him at this stage and it'd be a bad game. Bit like last year and the year before fans were happy to jump on his back yet he was one of our best and most important players.

Tbf whilst I get your point and do some what agree but he does seem exempt just how Johnson has been last 2 seasons only out if injured. I think gerrard role does suit him now but no way Rodgers should play him week in week out as he seems to tire very early on he still us our best passer in midfield though so can easily pick balls out to tear open defences
 
I disagree on him being tired, unfortunately he'll happily sprint towards their box near the end of a game we are winning 1-0 :p.

He isn't even close to Johnson territory, but several attacks do get past him a game (funnily enough he can't cover the entire horizontal distance of the pitch in two seconds), people act like this never happens to other midfielders who are good and instantly look to blame him.

Think I'll go watch all the goals we've conceded after this game if we win and see which are Steve's fault. Oddly Hendo hasn't got any crap for his absolutely trash performance against City.

He isn't close to Johnson but I meant as doesn't get subbed,Well tbf the entire team was cack vs city nothing was good in that game and vs villa we just looked toothless upfront but that was more Rodgers tactic than players, I'm more interested to see how mignolet does the pressure he is coming under atm I ain't sure how he will handle it
