Robbed of a pen too. Who was it moaning about the ref being biased earlier?
Honestly who even cares at this point. We've had two very generous red cards given in our favour and we couldn't capitalise in either of them, we honestly looked much worse in both. A point today isn't deserved in the slightest after that second half and the same, bewildering subs from Dean.

Holy ****, that was stressful.

Massive 3 points but we robbed Chelsea of a result today who were the far better team.

Really concerned about our fullbacks now, teams are attacking the wings constantly and getting behind them with ease.

Klopp needs to sort out his game management, there's no need to overload the opposition when we're comfortable in games.

Edit: Adrian MOTM for me today.

Yep, we really don't look good enough at the moment.

Lampard is a bit of a buffoon. Pedro and Pulisic on the bench yet swaps strikers when they’re struggling to break Liverpool down? Both fullbacks were their most attacking players and couldn’t hit anyone in the area when they got the ball. They dominated but didn’t create anything of any substance at all?

Liverpool fullbacks had Willian and Mount to contend with so did okay considering... Liverpool were far too narrow.

I'm so glad I don't post during Liverpool games, the hysteria in here is mad. First half we played pretty well, particularly considering who we were up against and looked in control - Chelsea had their moments but you'd expect that. We started the 2nd half really well and it looked like we were going to kill the game off but we just stopped playing football anymore and looked like we were trying to see the game out and it could have cost us. That said, for all Chelsea's dominance in that last 30 minutes, they hardly created many clear chances to score. A tricky away game out of the way, maxiumum points and 5 points clear at the top of the table, can't be too bad.

As for their disallowed goal. It was offside, VAR worked (for a change) as it should. Lampard's a cheeky ****er with his "maybe we'll get one go for us soon" comment post game, bringing up the offside goal in the Super Cup - that was clearly offside too and Chelsea had a penalty, not overturned by VAR, for a blatant dive in that game.

Emery getting all the hate despite the brain dead right back getting sent off.

We're still playing it out slowly from the back despite out defence being shaky and having nothing but speed upfront, almost zero attempts to play long goal kicks or even just mid range goal kicks. Xhaka was again absolutely dire, again started, team was a million times better when we didn't just bring Torreira on but took Xhaka off for a change. Our defence is a complete joke and while he inherited some bad personnel he should still be able to train them to be better than this. THe first goal was just embarrassingly bad, non reaction, no one matching runs, no one taking command.

AMN has been truly terrible at right back in most games this season but started again.

Emery probably gets a bit too much of the blame, the defence didn't just need replacing, he's also had to cope with the best parts of our defence either leaving, ageing or being injured so it's not surprising the defence got worse or stayed about the same rather than getting better. But things like refusing to back Torreira despite being several levels above Xhaka in every aspect of the game, his insistence on rarely ever subbing Xhaka off when he's rubbish or making other key changes early enough. Emery is doing poorly and picking bad line ups for the wrong games.

The comeback felt like old Arsenal, down to 10 and showing some actual grit. Guen was fantastic, Torreira was everywhere when he came on, Chambers was really good and far more composed than AMN. Willock provided legs and drive when he came on. Someone on reddit was saying Ozil should have come on but he couldn't have been more wrong in a game where we needed guys upfront to lay the pressure on and run the ball down when we were short a player, quite aside from how utterly rubbish he's been anyway. Defence still a joke but there are certainly signs of encouraging things in midfield and upfront.
