Maddison's a special player, got big things ahead of him.
Talented player but he's going to have to learn to become more of a midfielder than a number 10 if he's going to make it at a top club.

Because he's a complete liability every now and then. Or just all the time if you ask a Southampton fan
He's not a forward. He's not got the pace, directness or genius ability to play in a front 3 and score 15+ goals per season. He's a number 10 and the issue he has is teams rarely play with a number 10 anymore. I'm sure moving forwards he'll become more and more a central midfielder but he has some work to do to become a top class central midfielder.
