Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [20th - 25th January 2017]

2-0, real bad defending.

Hull have done quite well all things considered and were very unlucky not to get a penalty at 1-0.

Attendance was 53,100 or so. I saw the empty seat's as well but it was around half time.

You must be right.
I commented to Mrs Sexy at half time when what I presume was a drone flying over (I don't think they use airships or helicopters now) and the top half was empty. When the second half started and they ran on the pitch it still looked totally empty but a view I have now with Milner taking a corner with them 3-2 down shows it is full.
Thanks.

Any update? First thing that sprung to mind when I saw that was 'fractured skull', given he took the contact on the side of the head, and his reaction after.

I've had a fractured skull, it's not pretty, hope he recovers quickly :(

Says who?

Best to keep things factual with things like this I reckon

Hull City
The Club can confirm that Ryan Mason sustained a skull fracture in our fixture at Chelsea this afternoon.

He was taken to St Mary’s Hospital where he has undergone surgery.

Ryan is in a stable condition and is expected to remain in hospital for the next few days.

Everyone at the Club would like to express their sincere thanks for the excellent and swift care given to Ryan by both the Accident and Emergency department and Neurosurgery Unit at St Mary’s Hospital.

Get well soon Ryan.

I agree and it was a genuine question. The first I read and all I knew at the time were people talking about him fighting for his life.

I hope Mason makes a full recovery.
I was sitting right at the other end of the ground and you could hear the 'thunk' from there, horrible stuff :(

That injury sounds horrible - Get Well Soon.

Really feel for Hull, given their lack of experience in general last thing they need is to lose one of their more experienced players for a long time

Was hoping they would escape the relegation (would much prefer CP, Sunderland and Swansea to go down)
