You simply can't tackle if any contact is a foul. The ref has to decide if the contact was enough to merit a foul.

Honestly we are just playing rubbish today. Everyone is slow, no movement.
 
Luiz with a shocking challenge in a game they're 2-0 up and cruising. Such an incredibly stupid footballer and a truly bizarre (re)signing.
 
Rubbish as we've been, I feel if we can get a goal back we're still in it. But the defence could easily gift them another goal, they don't look focused.

Putting the team selection/setup aside, the negative mentality going in to these games is crippling the team.

Buying players to not even bother play football.
 
at least LVG didn't try using Fellaini as a ball-playing attacking centre midfielder. We have Herrera, we have Mata... 'no, let's put the lad that has absolutely no touch in there'. The endless circulation of players and positions makes no sense at all.
 
What a terrible first half. Defensively United were awful and what makes it more annoying is that Chelsea weren't even that good. Atkinson hasn't helped by bottling the Luiz challenge either, blatant red card.
