Not just that, and I'll admit I didn't notice till the final replay, ignore the handball, Meireles went studs in, and caught Holt in the ankle with a high boot and studs showing, while Holt had his foot up that was the follow through from the kick and he was standing basically still, Meireles came in at full speed, handballed and caught him full on with studs...... it was almost a straight red, without question a yellow and the ref missed two blatant freekicks in one.

Torres's miss in the second half was truly abysmal, get the ball there I can understand one touch after the deflection, next touch should have been in the net, instead he took a few touches then toe poked it wide.
