Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [21st - 25th November 2014]

To be fair, pretty much all teams are pretty shocking this season in the EPL besides Chelsea. No other team has had a great start or a great run of games (Newcastle as of late?) but while playing decent football?
Then there is the problem with Chelsea, awful to watch football and can't get a grip in Europe just yet. Pretty sad state so far in the EPL.
Obviously the Spanish giants are doing pretty fantastic, Dortmund on the other hand? Crisis!

I guess seasons after a WC are always a little off maybe?
 
I cant wait for Daniel Sturridge to come back. The consensus from Ex Liverpool Pro's and Scouse Players of the the likes of Fowler, McAteer, Micky Quinn, Mcmanaman etc etc etc ad naseum is that Sturridge will solve all illsat Liverpool. He may even make a defender out of Johnson, Skrtel or Lovren yet.
 
He's okay saying the linesman was wrong, but he refuses to say Mike Dean got Wilsheres red card wrong. :P

How can he say it wasn't violent conduct. :o

The level of hatred and bile on here seems just a tad lower towards Rodgers than towards Hodgson.

Defend from the front an all that, no doub Sturridge is a a massive influence and miles better than what Liverpool have on offer at holding the ball up, bringing others into play and scoring!

We will still lose in completely the same manner or maybe snatch a draw

And the reasons for that have been mentioned time and time again, perhaps remove those blinkers once in a while and read what's written.

Remove what blinkers? What has been written, did you post on how brilliant Rodgers was compared to Roy and I missed it? I wasn't defending Hodgson's time at Liverpool, I was just pointing out that Rodgers despite spending massively more and starting this season with a team that was far stronger in the previous season than when Roy took over yet he's doing significantly worse as it stands. I merely pointed out the Rodgers hatred and bile pales into insignificance compared to that of a manager who was doing less badly at the time having had a worse schedule a worse squad and exceptionally little money to buy players with.
