Why would anyone do this, ever, if I became manager at a club and stuck with Heskey, I think the most I'd do is send him on a security training course then push him into the stewarding side of football.

Good for Bellamy but sorry why isnt Kelly playing? Last i checked he was fine. Rather Kelly play than Johnson.
 
Wooo another week in the top 4 and another win, though not the best performance today but it's a positive sign that we can play badly and still get 3 points!

We (Villa) were the better of the two before the sending off. It would around 65%-35% possesion at that point and we had the clearer chances on goal.

He's young, you're playing Norwich, it would be silly to aim to play him for every remaining game of the year, when would you rest him exactly?


Arsenal now HAVE to win tomorrow just to stay 6 points behind, Newcastle :(

This is after a run of "easy" games and even then we could only hit 7th, and I don't fancy our chances against Stoke frankly with the mistakes we make.

When we hit a run of playing top half teams again I can see us dropping a lot more points again.

Vital 3 points tbh with a run of games against Manu/City and Chelsea coming up after Stoke and Everton

Id rather he played the prem games and Johnson played the Carling/FA cup games tbh. I just dont rate Johnson that highly anymore.

I wonder when were going to give Coates a run out too these are sort of games i thought would suit him
 
I hope we don't stuff it up against Norwich, i aint staying up to watch a boring dull game.

Agree, we need Coates to come good and get another great defender in. Very impressed with Enrique so far, Kelly is a good player. Carra is still good but he's over the hill now.
