Greenlizard0 Weekend Football Thread ** spoilers ** [22 - 26th December 2012]

Has he? I'm not entirely sure he completed a single cross! His passing is woeful, his defending is woeful and he's a diving ****. I don't think he's done a single positive thing this match. Even the one run he did he then tapped his shot straight at the keeper.

Come off it, he's been no worse than some of the other Manchester United players and not as poor as Rooney.

Is it against the rules? A defender's instinctively going to try and clear anything straight away, no?

Calm down previous and go reapply your make up to your tear streaked face.

I didn't say his reaction was tight, I'm just pointing out that if someone pings a ball off your head from a yard away I'm not surprised you might lose your temper.

So this is now a pro? He's **** but not as **** as Rooney? They've both been crap and both should have come off long ago. The difference is Rooney sometimes plays well where as Young has been dire all season.

It's like a disease, slowly everyone is playing crap. Cleverley just cleared the ball behind under no pressure!

Now we have Scholes on as well, this is the Norwich game all over again :(

Haha, I'm surprised that you've not blamed Carrick more ;).

Rooney has been the worst player on the pitch this game, the 'chasing pack' of other terrible players don't have much between them. It's been an utterly bizarre performance, Manchester United are enjoying having the ball but are playing too terribly to do anything with it.

Aston Villa XI v Chelsea: Guzan, Lowton, Baker, Clark, Lichaj, Holman, Westwood, Bannan, Herd, Weimann, Benteke

Chelsea XI v Aston Villa: Cech, Ivanovic, Cahill, Cole, Azpilcueta, Luiz, Lampard, Mata, Hazard, Moses, Torres

Scholes comes on and immediately we take minutes to get the ball forwards, we might as well fax Swansea our attack plan and give them a bit more time to prepare.

Totally :o.

What Manchester United were doing before was working a lot better :p.
