Souness is probably the one Liverpool player of all time that I'm most fascinated with. Because of everything that happened when he was manager you don't always get a fair reflection of him as a player but one thing everybody says is that he was the toughest & nastiest player about - it didn't matter where on the pitch there was an incident, you could guarantee he was in the middle of it.

Souness was filthy I can recall one challenge in particular where he absolutely cleansed someone, real bad challenge and he's there pointing at his sock as though he's been fouled. Will always be a Blackburn legend though.
