I don't know the extent of their personal relationship, but they are likely friends - or at least still good acquaintances. He's hardly going to sit there are tell the world his friend is *****. The issue is conflict of interest in his role, although that is another thread in itself particularly when it comes to Sky Sports.

He hasn't liked to blame anything on our managers regardless of friendships. When Mourinho was being a **** he was still blaming the players and saying that Mourinho wasn't being perfect but its the players fault.

Honestly didn't think many United fans were that giddy after Ole took over. Pretty much all of us wanted to wait until the end of the season before making him full time appointment. We were quite happy after Mourinho ****** off though.

As somebody mentioned, it's probably because he was utter tripe as a manager, and he knows other managers know that.

I'm sure I remember a manager he gave stick about dished that back to him and he's remained quiet on managers ever since.
