Oh well heads held high; 2 points off 4th. We get behave out of the way next week and start cracking on.

If I can scrape any positives out of that, it was the last 15 minutes where Dembele, Lamela and Adebayor started playing pretty well in the attacking 3rd. They took on players and looked for difficult passes rather than sideways. There were even hints of running off the ball.

If this crap about automatisms is true, AVB needs fired or to burn his coaching manuals. These players are better than coaching books.

AVB still has time, but he needs a radical rethink about how he coaches this team. Spurs have the lowest number of offsides this season; that stat sums up our static play. Less automatisms, more letting good players show what they are made of.
 
That Utd team does cause worries - offensively a few stalwarts plus others who deserve starts, defensively however hmmm and no real options on the bench either
